Learning to draw, I would often try to copy things I liked in attempt to reverse-engineer how the artist got the results they did. Later, I found that, by doing so, I not only gleaned basic drawing techniques, but also those specific to certain artists. From that, the novel thought occurred:

"What if I drew one thing in the style of another?"

And thus my proclivity for style-matching was born, and here is an entire gallery of style-matching stuff. Most all of it, save for maybe two illustrations, are legacy, and thus do not reflect my current skills as an artist, but are fun regardless.
